About me

Jacqui has been in the real estate industry for 35 years and has built a network of close relationships here on the Gold Coast.

Jacqui's career commenced in 1988 with a well known Japanese Development Company where Jacqui assisted and supported a team of Architects and Engineers working on various projects including golf courses, resorts, high rise developments and building refurbishments. Jacqui then joined the Rural Operations arm of the Company to assist in the Management of Japanese owned cattle stations throughout Queensland. After six years in that role Jacqui moved into Residential Sales and Property Management where she was able to hone her skills in building rent rolls and training Administration and Property Management Staff.

Jacqui is an integral part of the team at JK Property Agents. Her role as the Retail & Commercial Leasing Agent is to manage all aspects of the retail and commercial tenancies including preparing outgoings budget estimates and the reconciliation and review of the annual audits. Jacqui is a skilled negotiator when it comes to working with Tenants and Lessors alike to achieve the best results for our clients.

I was looking for an investment property but also somewhere to rent while we renovated another property and that's when fate guided me to Jacqui Hensleigh at JK Property Agents. Jacqui took the time to listen to what our needs were, and she gave refreshing and honest advice. One point of difference was that Jacqui gave my wife and I respect from day one when all we needed immediately was a rental property. I have been treated like a second-class (or third class) citizen on many occasions when renting but Jacqui was outstanding.

JK Property Agents found the property for us then negotiated terms and conditions with the owner. The property was perfect for our needs and when we moved out and into our renovated property the transition was effortless. Some rental exits can be painful and unnecessarily conflictual but not in this case. We looked after the property and returned it in, at least, the same condition. The bond cleaners, recommended by Jacqui, were also excellent and dealt with Jacqui directly.

Jacqui is excellent to deal with and I hope she can find us an investment property soon - It will be a pleasant transaction for all.
